Mandatory Covid Virus Protocol:
ALL PERFORMERS at ALL REHEARSALS will be required to wear a protective FACE MASK as well as ALL parents entering the dance studio.
All dancers must be enrolled in a dance school of choice, and actively participating in weekly classes.
Female Dancers ages 7 years thru 6th Grade
Male Dancers ages 5 years thru 6th Grade
*Audition Fee: $10 per dancer*
1:00 pm Registration /. 1:30-2:30 Audition
Please wear appropriate dance wear and ballet shoes
Dancers 7th Grade thru Young Adult:
*Auditions Fee: $10 per dancer *
3:00 pm Registration /. 3:30 - 5:00 pm Audition
Please wear appropriate dance wear and ballet shoes (pointe if applicable)
Adult Actors Male and Female
Registration Please 1:00pm thru 4:00pm
No Audition is required. Enrollment at audition day is required
All performers thru high school age are required to pay the performance contract fee:
$60.00 first person / $80.00 two family members / $100 three family members
Required Fundraising: $300 for each Dance Family
Strict Weekly Attendance Policy
NO absences production week for school programs
Production Week: Friday, December 4th -- Sunday, December 13th 2020
The Young People's Performing Arts Theatre was formed in 1981 to enable local dancers from all over Southeast Missouri to participate in a large-scale semi-professional production. This student ballet company is dedicated to stimulating public interest in the art of classical ballet. Since its creation, hundreds of young performers have had the opportunity to work with Kimberly Gavin Anderson in the production of the Nutcracker Ballet and A Merry Christmas Show.
